Since the moment it was announced that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had delivered a baby girl, the whole country wanted to know what the little baby would be named.

And now, our favourite author Shobhaa De, has revealed her name on Twitter. The Mumbai Mirror also mentioned this name in today’s edition, but if De can confidently tweet it, we can be sure it’s the real deal.

After all, Shobhaa De – with all her big-name friends and contacts – would definitely have an insider’s edge!

And what does Abhilasha mean? It is a Sanskrit word which means – desire; wish; aspiration; affection. Let’s wait for Big B to announce it himself, now that he’s feeling better!
