A lot of the fashion crowd, particularly the ones who are just back from the recent autumn/ winter fashion week, are a bit hesitant to go through another whole week of it. Which is why Lakmé Fashion Week has really shaken things up; there is a considerable amount of change this season and we can already see it take shape.
Why, just on Wednesday, where there would normally be an off-site show, there was instead an opening party. Tote, which is usually the venue for the party, has now been replaced by The Blue Frog. These differences are already gearing people up to experience a whole new summer/resort 2012. And of course, there was a whole lot of fashion on display, from Anjana Sharma’s eclectic hair pieces, to Sabina Chopra’s gorgeous gold pencil skirt (Sabyasachi?). So happy it’s a week where we all get to dress up and be superbly stylish!
