Shankar is India’s highest paid filmmaker, and with films such as Robot in his name, there’s no wonder why. His next film stars Vikram (you may remember him as Aishwarya Rai‘s husband in Raavan), and now news is abuzz that Deepika Padukone is being considered for the female lead.
While neither Deepika nor her spokesperson will confirm the news (the spokesperson said talks are still in the early age), it looks like Deepika is definitely in consideration and seems to be excited about it. She has another Tamil film in her kitty (Kochadaiyaan with Rajnitkanth), so it’s safe to say that if this film works out, Deepika will amass quite the fan following in the South – especially since the film will be shot in both Tamil and Telugu (and also Hindi!)
