Saturday Night Live has produced some of the most talented actors, comedians and writers in Hollywood. Here’s a look at a few of the top 10 SNLstars,

Chevy Chase
Chase was part of the original cast of SNL and became the first actor to see success outside of the show.

Adam Sandler
Sandler joined SNL as a writer but was soon after a featured actor, according to an interview with Conan O’Brien he was fired from the show after a 4 year stint.

Mike Myers
No way, Wayne’s World was a sketch on SNL before it went on to become a super-hit film.

Jimmy Fallon
Before Fallon had his own late night show he was most well-known for his impressions of celebrities and song parodies on SNL.

Eddie Murphy
Named one of the greatest stand-ups of all time by Comedy Central Murphy was first recognized on SNL.

Tina Fey
Fey started off working at SNL as a writer and became the show’s first female head writer. Later on  producer Lorne Michaels later had first her star in the SNL weekend update section. During the 2008 U.S. Presidential Election Fey’s resemblance to Sarah Palin made some epic sketches.

Will Ferrell
One of Ferrell’s most popular sketches The Roxbury Guys also featuring & Chris Kattan led to the film A Night at the Roxbury. Would the song What is Love be popular if it weren’t for these two?

Amy Poehler
For 8 years Poehler entertained audiences with her weekend updates and sketches before she started her own series Parks & Recreations.

Chris Rock
Rock started his career with SNL and has since become one of the most successful stand-up comedians of all time.
