OMG this article just changed my life (and my excuse for being a b*atch sometimes! Thank you fellow lefty Diya Kapoor for sharing.) Apparently left-handers get angrier than righties (we also get more bashful *aaaww*). According to a small study published in The Journal of Nervous and Mental Disease (!), lefties are more prone to having negative emotions. In addition, we seem to have a more difficult time processing our feelings. Again, this seems to be related to the brain-hand connection. Oh well, that explains it 🙂
This probably also explains why lefties like to booze! Next time you’re at a bar check which hand most people are holding their drinks in, you’ll spot a lot of lefties! Aside from being a great ice-breaking-mind-reading sort of party trick you can drop this wisdom on them,; nobody panic lefties do drink more often, but are not more prone to alcoholism *phew*
