Wish It is an Independent Short Film that asks the question – what is important more important; the material things we crave or the people who make it all worthwhile?
Tanya is a young, self critical and ambitious-to-a-fault small town girl with big city dreams. She works at one of the biggest media agencies in the country as an executive producer, but that’s not enough. She has set her sights on becoming the creative director of her company, a stepping stone to a dream job abroad. Despite her hard work and talent she is always passed up, until one day she receives the power to have anything she wishes for. The catch being that every time she makes a wish, she loses someone in her life. This story is about the important things in life, what makes us tick and how sometimes what we wish for may be what we want, but is not always what we truly need.
