In a recent interview, Sridevi made the comment that she doesn’t want her daughter Jhanavi to become an actress, and would actually much prefer if she settled down and got married instead.

Says Sridevi, “People have started presuming and even naming some hero’s son as her co-star and we had a big laugh about it. Mera bas chale toh I would get her married soon and settle her down!“

She went on to say that at this point she only wants Jhanavi to concentrate on getting a good education, since that’s what Sridevi missed out on since she started work at an early age.
