Towel Day may be a day to remember author Douglas Adams, but even in Bollywood we’ve never hesitated from celebrating the almighty towel! Turns out, the towel has been pretty omnipresent in Bollywood songs… wanna see what I mean? 🙂

1. Jab Se Tere Naina

Ranbir Kapoor sure did grab eyeballs in his debut film, and a lot of the credit for that has to go to this white towel.

2. Mere Khwabon Mein Jo Aaye

One of Bollywood’s most iconic dances, Kajol parades around in a towel dreaming of her dream man.

3. Aal Izz Well

This is one of the most fun songs to come out of recent times! All the dancers are clad in towels for a portion of the song.

4. Piya Piya

Remember this little gem? I used to be so obsessed with it back in the day! Preity Zinta and Rani Mukherjee are so adorable dancing around in their towels.

5. Jeene Ke Hai Char Din

And this, ladies and gentlemen, would be my favourite towel song. Salman Khan just kills all competition with this move. Just hearing this song makes me want to whip out a towel and get going.
