Actress Sarah Jessica Parker is hosting a fundraiser along with US Vogue editor Anna Wintour for President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle at her residence in New York. The event coincides with another fundraiser for Obama by Sex and the City creator Darren Star. Interestingly, ticket cost $80,000 per couple compared to Star’s $10,000. However, one lucky couple have won the best seats of the house through a $3 raffle over the Internet!
That’s not all, Anna Wintour and her daughter Bee Shaffer were seen making a house call to SJP’s house to oversee all arrangements for the dinner. Paps snapped movers carting pieces of furniture and a piano into the apartment. SJP isn’t the only Hollywood celebrity to throw a fundraiser; earlier this year George Clooney raised $15 million for Obama’s re-election campaign!
