In a recent interview, Sonam Kapoor spoke about diplomacy in the industry, and her tendency to be honest rather than tactful. Her honesty, she says, comes from her idealism – but now she’s realizing she needs to stop being sensitive, and Vidya Balan may be one of the inspirations behind that. Here’s what Sonam had to say:
Sonam Kapoor says: I have learnt a lot about how to detach from the way Vidya Balan conducts her life. She’s very inspirational in many ways because she takes everything at its face value and then throws it out of the window. She’s completely unfazed and doesn’t care about it.
Not that I have any experience to judge, but “take it and throw it out the window” seems like the perfect way to survive Bollywood – and many other things in life, actually! Here’s hoping Sonam can find that sort of detachment soon, because it sure ain’t easy.
