First, after the success of Rowdy Rathore, we heard Akshay scrambled to expand his production house’s film Oh My God – just so that it could include a song that he wanted Sonakshi Sinha to do. Now, it turns out UTV Motion Pictures has brought forward the release date of Joker, as they want to cash in on the Akshay/Sonakshi pairing. The film is now releasing on August 31st, two weeks earlier than planned. On the next hand, UTV‘s other film, Barfi, has been pushed back to September 14th to make room for Joker‘s release.
