You could tell I’ve quite the style crush on the Chinese actress Li Bingbing by how often I featured her in my Cannes fashion round-ups, and how I highly I spoke of her fashion choices (here, here and here). Bingbing hit yet another fashion sixer a few days ago, at the 15th Annual Shanghai Film Festival. How so?

More often than not I don’t get the Gucci/Frida Giannini aesthetic, but on Bingbing, they seem to seem to work, every blinkin’ time. This time, she went for a bodysuit, which was a mash-up of two Gucci A/W’12 looks ‒ and she looked wowsers, yet again. The black tulle long sleeved draped top with delicate floral embroidery and the black velvet pleated pant with satin detail gave the androgynous-sounding outfit just the right amount of feminine touches. She completed the winning look with Gucci ‘Horsebit’ earrings in 18K pink gold and onyx with black diamonds.
