We told you yesterday that Joker‘s release date has been brought forward in an attempt to cash in on Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha‘s popularity as a pairing. While those looking forward to the movie may be happy for the opportunity to see it earlier, there are two people who are probably not happy at all – Akshay and Sonakshi! Word has it, the cast of Once Upon a Time Again (of which Akshay and Sonakshi are a part) will be shooting out of India the entire month of August and the beginning of September. The original release date, September 14th, probably gave them just enough time to come back to India and start promotions in full swing. However, the new release date, August 31st, doesn’t give them that opportunity at all!
In this day and age with marketing campaigns getting more elaborate with each movie, I’m sure they’ll want to promote Joker as much as they can. So looks like there will be some date shifting going on here – either with Once Upon a Time Again shooting or with Joker‘s release!
