When I spotted this picture of Esha Deol in her beautiful Rocky S. lehenga she looked every bit the blushing bride. The orange colour looked stunning on her! Till someone Twitter pointed out to MissMalini that we’ve seen it before and our radars perked up….
So putting my investigative boots on; I closely examined Kareena Kapoor’s outfit in the ad and compared it to Esha’s. While it looks eerily similar, the brocade print is set wider apart. The length of the blouse is longer and Esha’s definitely has more embroidery work on her shoulders. My only logical conclusion is perhaps Esha tore out this ad from a magazine as inspiration to wear on a special day. What do you think? Check out more of Kareena’s ad here:
