After Kareena Kapoor‘s exit from Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s Ram Leela, word doing the rounds was that Priyanka Chopra would be taking her spot. However, apparently, Deepika Padukone is very interested in the role herself…
Apparently, DP is very insistent on making her way into the Bhansali camp, and so has been sending feelers out to SLB that she’d like to take up the role of the Gujju Juliet. Mirror says he’s being swayed thanks to seeing her performance in Cocktail (which we thought was great also); he liked that she was able to play a grey character so well.
So now looks like the race is on between DP and PC for Juliet. Who do you think would be best for this role, considering that Ranveer Singh is playing the Romeo?

Deepika was good in Cocktail but I still think to portray such a role, Priyanka would be the better choice.
