Superstar Rajesh Khanna Passes Away

After battling a prolonged illness since April, Rajesh Khanna passed away this afternoon in his Mumbai home. He had been hospitalized several times over the course of the past few months after complaining about weakness, and had to be put on a ventilator last night. Bollywood will certainly miss the original superstar. RIP, Rajesh Khanna. We know you hate tears, so we’d rather smile by watching some of your best work:

You may remember that earlier there was a false alarm about his death, which resulted in him stepping out onto his balcony to wave to fans and well-wishers.

Rajesh Khanna will be an icon 500 yrs from now.

With the advent of electronic media none of our videos/films will ever ever die . so even 500 years from now it will be possible to google rajesh khanna and see everything like today.

At that time we are sure that Kaka will score over all else from our time because of his values and eternal love that he propagated in his films and his immortal songs..people may even be studying his songs like we do Shakespeare, Tansen, Thyagaraja today.

Although, I know that you are surrounded by countless souls that are more beautiful and flock to you like lambs…because God has given you the responsibility to shepherd them in all things that are good and right!!

May your soul find the strength to guide the destiny of all us mortals here on earth….because God has entrusted you with that task, knowing fully well that whatever you chose to do in life, you did it outstandingly well with a pure spirit and resolute heart!!
