One of the late legend’s last wishes was to hold a retrospective on his films and let his fans reminiscence over his golden era of cinema. My source close to the family reveals that Dimple Kapadia and Twinkle Khanna were in the process of putting together a small event that would screen his blockbuster films and also give fans a chance to get an audience with the former superstar.

An insider spills the beans on what was being planned. “Dimple and Tina knew that he was very critical and perhaps in his last stages. On his better days he would talk about making the current generation watch his films and get a sense of his work. He felt that while the older generation still admired him, the younger lot didn’t really get a chance to watch his films. Hence he wanted this retrospective to be organised.” Sadly, before his family could get everything organised, Kaka passed away. Now there is talk that Dimple will hold this film festival on his first death anniversary next year.

I still watch his movies, and I do consider myself from the younger generation ;).
My dad said movies during Rajesh Khanna’s time were romatic, realistic but changed into action and over the top due to Amitabh’s angry young man craze.

Wish we get another romantic actor like Rajeshji.. absolutely loved his films!

kaka as he was known was undoubtedly the real super star as mr. bacchan rightly said the tags been created for kaka..his films wont be complete without namak haram,kati patang,aradhana, amar prem.

Rajesh Kanna was a great actor of his times.His best movies were—Amar Prem,Aradhana,Do Raste,Aap Ki Kasam, and many more as I do not remember theirnames—-May his soul restin peace.

Kaka was called as the first Superstar of the Indian cinema.He symbolised as a romantic actor. Bollywood lost a legend actor Rajesh Khanna.He is my favrt actor. We feel very sorry.We will miss him.We have really loss a true superstar.
Movie: Anuradha,Anand,Bawarchi, Mehboob,kati patang,amar prem,Phir Wohi Raat,Agar Tum Na Hote,Aap Ki Kasam — are my favrt.
Seeing movie Aradhana, I cry cry and also cry….super super super movie.

Super Star Rajesh Khanna will be an icon 500 yrs from now.

With the advent of electronic media none of our videos/films will ever ever die . so even 500 years from now it will be possible to google rajesh khanna and see everything like today.

At that time we are sure that Kaka will score over all else from our time because of his values and eternal love that he propagated in his films and his immortal songs..people may even be studying his songs like we do Shakespeare, Tansen, Thyagaraja today.
