It seems celebrities too are affected by a sudden bout of nerves like us mere mortals. Gossip Girl actress Blake Lively has recently admitted that in order to beat that she channels another bombshell on the red carpet – Marilyn Monroe.

Said Lively, ”I have insecurities like any girl. I used to feel really shy and unconfident. I hated being tall. Walking the red carpet is scary, so I pretend to be Marilyn Monroe – someone who owned their sexuality and projected this incredible aura of self confidence.”

Wonder if she got this tip when she played Monroe on Gossip Girl?
