It might be Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2012, but Mumbai-based designer Drashta Sarvaiya is showcasing her Spring/Summer 2013 collection.
For this collection she drew inspiration from Austrian painter Gustav Klimt. His paintings features nudes and semi nudes draped in white and beige and from this, Drashta has forged her collection. The dominant silhouette will be the peplum. Aside from that, tunics, shirts and dresses will also be present.
Light-weight brocade, gold embroidery and crystal work will give the clothes a sense of opulence much like Klimt’s work. Looking at these sketches, I’m sure we are in for some knockout romantic fashion. I’m loving the full skirted-peplum look. It’s gorgeous! Do you like?
