Ranbir-Kareena to Star in a Film Based on Farhan-Zoya’s Life?

We had told you earlier that Zoya Akhtar has been working on a script that explores the relationship between brother and sister, and she was planning on casting Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor in the film. However, it now appears that the film is actually autobiographical of sorts – it’s based on Zoya’s relationship with brother Farhan.
It’s unclear whether this is an actual autobiography or Zoya’s just using drawing inspiration from her relationship with Farhan, and weaving those into a story. Either way, it’s been a while since we’ve seen a sibling-oriented film, so it’ll be good to watch something different – and since it will be the first time that Kareena and Ranbir star in a film together, that’ll be all the more interesting. But since the pair haven’t officially been signed on yet (Zoya’s still working on the script), we just gotta hope that everyone’s dates work out!

The movie won’t have accounts of their childhood as much but rather how they bonded as siblings through emotional conflicts. That’s the word out there.
