Peace Shorts is a world-wide short film contest with a theme of Youth activism via peace & non-violence that was executed by De Paix Yatra in association with Asia’s largest short film screening club Shamiana at Blue Frog on 25th July amidst a host of movie-lovers.

Luke Kenny and Pia Trivedi were present to watch the acclaimed short films along with Nauheed Cyrusi and Ira Dubey who announced the winners of the night.

The 3 winning short films were Suicide: Ek Koshish, Clean Sweep and Whims & Fancies in the first, second and third position respectively. Ira Dubey, Nauheed Cyrusi, Cyrus Dastur (founder of Shamiana) and Nitesh Square of De Paix Yatra were the judges for this contest.

These three short films will now be screened globally at all the eight countries that Parth Vasavada and Nitesh Square of De Paix Yatra will be visiting during the course of their 65-day long peace mission. This includes screenings in ten major cities across India, including Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore, Ahmedabad & 15 cities across the globe including London, Paris, Milan, Rome, Istanbul, Lahore.
