Reader Poll: Would You Forgive Kristen Stewart?

Here’s one for the boys! According to Hollywoodlife.com 65% say Robert Pattinson should dump Kristen Stewart for making out with her Snow White and the Seven Huntsmen director Rupert Sanders as reported by US Weekly. But I want to know what YOU think. Leave a comment below boys (and girls) with whether you think this was an unforgivable transgression or just a momentary lapse of reason. (I also think it’s interesting that people are always more shocked when the girl cheats!)

Most certainly not! Whether you are a girl or a guy…cheating can never be looked as momentary lapse in judgement!! Have u ever cheated in an exam that’s because u knew you could get away with it!! Cheaters and cheating can only break hearts and cause pain to both involved!! Not acceptable

Here’s what people keep forgetting, this cheating was a TWO WAY relationship, Sanders is just as much guilty and Stewart, don’t forget that, men tend to get of too lightly when it comes to these things. I would forgive Kristen, it was a relatively trivial thing that has caused too much hooplah. My opinion, to each their own.

the only wrong thing she did was ‘ she came up too clean’. i would nt say, once a cheater always a cheater. but yes, this was nt somethng i expected from kstew in my wildest dreams. moral of the story: they should part ways, and kstew should show some respect to the relationship she had, with not gettin involved with rupert.. for gods sake, he is 41

I agree, Karen – Rupert’s the one looking like a real sleazeball here. His statement sounded so insincere and patronizing that I didn’t buy it for a second.
As for whether Rob should forgive Kristen… I think it’s hardly a black and white issue where cheating = dump the person. It depends from relationship to relationship… and I’m waiting to see what happens in this case.

Well it simply depends on the person and the situation. You have to look at how many times have this person done this. Do you think you can trust them? Will things we different? Will you REALLY be able to get past this? All the media and fans getting involved is absurd to me. I think fans should stop taking it so personal and I think the press needs to realize these are human beings, they have personal lives, and everything is not meant to be shared with them. People are going have their own opinions. However, I don’t think Rupert & Liberty and Robert & Kristen should let others influence their decision. But to answer the question, YES, I think he should give her another chance if he really wants to.

If she was cheating, they weren’t meant to be together. He’d be a fool to take her back. That being said, she made a mistake, but it doesn’t make her satan. People should really lay off her. How would we all look if our dirty laundry was aired to the world? I think the christians phrase as “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.”

I love kristen stewart but she went over the line. It was the right thing to do, to move out and end it. Kristen is probably suffering right now but she earned it. sorry kristen.

Kstew did not have a momentary lapse in judgement. It took more than a moment to relocate from one make out spot to another and another.
Now other sources are starting to say it was a full blown affair that began half way through SW production.
If that is the case, Kstew is cold busted in a really BIG lie and he will have to kick her to the curb.
Kstew also seems to have a history of hooking up with whoever she is working with on a movie at any given time. Now that the Twilight Saga is over Kstew is “bored” with Rob. Time to move on to greener pastures and make hook ups that will enhance her career. Her relationship with Rob doesn’t server her career ambitions anymore…she needs the action.

i know kstew really messed up but seriously i think they should get over it and move on to believe that rob and kristen belong together. he should forgive her. i dont think she will make the same mistake twice. after all she did see what happened when she cheated on him the first time, dont wanna see the 2nd.

I think this whole thing is being blown out of proportion. Yes, what Kristen did was definitely wrong. Not only did she spoil her own stable relationship but someone else’s too. I wouldn’t blame her for ending a marriage. She didn’t force Rupert Sanders to have an affair. The ending of his marriage is completely his fault.
One question though, how many times has anyone seen a male celebrity issuing a public apology because he cheated? No one. She made a mistake, a big mistake. She has admitted it, asked for an apology and hoping for the best.
It will be idiotic if Robert gets back together with her. The relationship will no longer work as trust is completely lost. The only thing left to do is for Robert to just forgive but to not take her back. He should just move on.
Forgive but not forget.
