If there’s an event I’ve enjoyed the most in recent times, it would have to be the Dulux event yesterday afternoon. They launched a new book called “Colours and You” with their brand ambassadors Shahid Kapoor and Boman Irani – the two are an absolute riot and wove together some “colourful” jokes to make a fabulous unveiling presentation. The funniest was when Boman started cracking jokes about Shahid and women, and then started giving him some love advice… check out the video and let us know if you were as tickled as we were!

After the unveiling, Shahid and Boman fielded media questions. The oddest was when a journo told Shahid she’d name women in Bollywood and he’d have to pick colours which he thinks would suit them best. So of course she went with the most controversial name choices: Vidya Balan, Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor… Shahid pretty much mouthed colours off at random. The journo then asked Shahid, “So of all the colours you listed, which is your favourite?” *facepalm* Shahid said, “You’re trying to trap me. Darling, I’ve given enough interviews. What’s funny is that I ran into the same journo in the bathroom and she was complaining to a friend/colleague about how he just gave colours at random and didn’t answer that question properly. *Lol* I mean, did she really think he’d fall for that trap? I think everyone in the room knew where she was going with that.

Since Rakshabandhan is coming up, the two were asked about their plans. Shahid said he plans to spend it with his sister and cousins at his father’s house, since it’s a very important holiday for them. Boman quipped that he used to be a shy guy when he was young, and got a lot of girls tying rakhis for him, which Shahid agreed with. According to Shahid, it’s one of the most depressing things, when you’re young, to have a girl come up to you and decide you were brother-material. It’s alright, Shahid… I bet you don’t have that problem now.

Overall, the two shared a great vibe. They were both relaxed and it was really fun hearing them talk and playing off each other’s jokes, especially since they’re both witty. Dulux has a range of colours like “Intelligent Indigo”, “Dreamy Violet”, “Happy Go Lucky Yellow” etc, and I think we can safely say that these two are definitely Rascal Reds!
