Delhi-based designer Jatin Varma went decidedly dark for his Autumn/Winter collection. Entitled ‘Dark Angels’ it had a heavy dosage of texture, fringing, power shoulders and sheer panels.
I couldn’t help but feel underwhelmed at this collection. His previous offering was so much MUCH better. There was nothing new I was seeing here. The power shoulders seemed too Balmain-esque. It may be great for editorial, but in reality I doubt its wearability. The ’20s inspired flapper dresses was probably the only thing I liked from his line. What do you think?
