Just a few years into Bollywood, and Imran Khan is reportedly already set to take on a new role – that of a producer. Apparently, he is attempting to revive the banner Nasir Hussain Films.
Nasir Hussain, Imran’s grandfather, ran a successful production house for much of his career. Post a few flops, though, his son Mansoor Khan (Imran’s uncle) took over and made films like Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and Jo Jeetha Wohi Sikander. However, even Mansoor Khan stopped making films and now doesn’t live in Mumbai. So Imran has decided its time to take the reigns – and is in talks with family and friends to make this a reality. What’s interesting to note, though, is that both Nasir Hussain and Mansoor Khan directed the films under their banner – so can we also expect Imran to dabble in direction at some point?
