Is the ‘Kismet Love Paisa Dilli’ Trailer Offensive?
I just watched the recently-released trailer of Kismet Love Paisa Dilli, and while I get that this is supposed to be another crazy, adult-humour film along the lines of Kya Super Kool Hain Hum, I can’t help but going “WTF?” at a few lines. Forget funny, I actually think they’re pretty offensive. Like when this gang kidnaps Mallika Sherawat in an attempt to rape her, and the leader mouths off: “Arey, madam ka moo meetha karao, bhai. Madam maa banne wali hai.” Check out the trailer to see what I mean.
There’s also that part where Mallika Sherawat is gagged and the guy says, “Laundiya ke moo pe patti kyun bandhi? English waali chummi kaise lenge ab?” Infact, the entire film seems to be based on rape – even Vivek Oberoi is sexually harassed by a group of men.
With the amount of rape incidents that occur (especially in Delhi, where the story is based), I actually don’t find this in particularly good taste at all. Maybe it’s too much to expect that the makers understand rape is not funny?

The levels some people can stoop to to make money. I mean this has gotta be a new low. How can they rant off such offensive lines in the guise of entertainment n humour. How can they take so lightly what some women have to go through in their lives.. Being a girl from Delhi I too have faced eve teasing n just merely that makes you feel so vulnerable, so weak, disgusted.. It’s a horrible feeling that cannot be described..and to think some women face a lot worse just breaks my heart.
This is really not done!! Doing such things in the name of movies and entertainment .. I hope not a single person goes to watch this movie

Ewww, this reminds me of the Sonakshi Sinha cover of FHM, which proudly proclaimed:
55% in Mumbai like minors (considered rape in Canada and the US, by the way)
82% of Cochin has rape fantasies (seriously??)
The post is here:

This notion that “rape is ok” really needs to stop in India.

This is so wrong on so many levels. Such a sensitive topic. It just seems like people consistently desensitize rape and do not realize how horrible it is, they cannot comprehend the mental and emotional trauma these victims go through.

Agreed completely, guys. They’re desensitizing rape and portraying it to be something that’s not only okay, but is funny.
As for the censor board… if they’re allowing THIS through while putting mindless restrictions on other films, then I really have to wonder what sort of misplaced morals they have.

This is pathetic . Vivek Oberoi has become a B-class actor now , working in a B- grade movie. The Director is also a pervert who does not know harsh realities . It is a shame that he is showing it as fun . RAPE is not FUN . It will increase the fun element in the mind of shady persons.
This movie will not only get a A certificate but also be banned on TV .
Shame on Director and producer. They cannot make a descent movie. SUPER FLOP . Who will spend there hard earned 150/- Rs on this shit.
I agree with Malini , this is sick. ” Spit on the film maker”
