It is that time of the year, when Hong Kong becomes a shopper’s paradise! To spice up your travel experience, every year Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) organises various shopping contests and events. This year’s theme is Hot Events Cool Place and Team MissMalini is heading to HK to be part of all the fun activities this city has to offer.

The Visa Go Hong Kong Super Shopper contest is organised by HKTB and Visa from 29 to 31 August. 9 teams from countries such as India, Mainland China, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia and Thailand have been selected to participate in a contest and compete to win HK$200,000 as a Visa spending bonus! *fingers crossed*

Our task is to prepare a one-day itinerary and showcase the great variety of Hong Kong’s travel experiences. We will be taking lots of pictures from our smart phones and sharing with the judges what we find interesting about Hong Kong. Psst! A little birdie tells me there is going to be a celebrity among us! I’m super excited to begin this adventure and promise to bring you some juicy gossip all the way from Hong Kong.
