According to Jon Stewart (the host of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart ice cream can remedy a broken heart! It’s with exactly that notion that he offered some to Robert Pattinson who appeared on his show post the news of the affair, marking his return to the public eye.
The host offered a tub of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream (quick somebody tell PZ!) and proclaimed that they were just two girls “hanging out, talking about a break up.” To which Pattinson replied “I’m going to avoid eating this, I’m going to split my spanx.” Thank god the actor hasn’t lost his sense of humour! I was beginning to think he may merge into his character Edward Cullen – the broody, detached vampire. Check out some of the excerpts from the interview below:
