Film on the Life and Death of Divya Bharti.

Divya Bharti was at the peak of her career with several hits behind her and several films in the pipeline, when she suddenly and tragically fell to her death from her apartment building. No one can say for sure whether this was an accident or murder, and the entire situation still remains shrouded in secrecy – so much so that it made it on the list of our top Unsolved Bollywood Mysteries. Now, it seems, a film is being made on Divya’s life and death.

The film, titled Love Behind the Border, is to be a tribute to Divya Bharti rather than a sensationalized account of her story. Apparently, casting for the main lead is still on but TOI claims Greek actress Tatiana Tsapikidou will play Neeta Lulla, Divya’s designer. Meanwhile, Sajid Nadiadwala (Divya’s husband) will be played by Vije Bhatia.

I have to say, I want to see this film, since I’ve always found her story so interesting. What about you?

Me too! I believe that she would have been one of the top actresses in the 90s if her life wasnt short lived! Loved her roles in Rang and Deewana! Even I had many different stories regarding her death, so yes do want to see the movie too! :P
