The film is less than two months away from its release, but Ishkq in Paris remains incomplete. While the film is apparently being screened for select audiences, there is a portion of the climax that has yet to be shot. Turns out, the team couldn’t get the necessary permissions in Paris to shoot this part of the film, so it needs to be shot elsewhere – and that’s where Imtiaz Ali came to the rescue!
Since the topography of Prague is similar to Paris, the team is going to be shooting that portion there. However, they needed to find the perfect location to shoot for it, and since Imtiaz shot much of Rockstar there, he decided to help in scouting the right place. Thanks to him, the Ishkq in Paris crew was able to find a spot that is allegedly so perfect that there shouldn’t be any continuity issues. They’re all set to wrap up that portion soon and then filming should finally be complete!
