Showcasing on Day 3 of IIJW, the show kick-started off with the Consulate-General of Japan in Mumbai, Mr. Kiyoshi Asako who was invited on stage (or rather the ramp) and spoke about the relations between India and Japan. Afterwards, there was a small screening on the life of the late designer.

The theme of the collection centred around nature and life and was entitled “Across Dream, Time and Space”. The opening piece was worn by supermodel Carol Gracias who was a stunning statement necklace adorned with orchids made up of diamonds.

The clothes were made by Arai Sara a famous Japanese fashion designer. Isn’t the jewellery exquisite?
