Brit Marling
Brit Marling…

After Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson, it was turn for another American actress, Brit Marling, to don a number from Gucci’s covetable Cruise 2013 collection. She wore a breezy dress to the premiere of The Iceman, starring Ray Liotta, Winona Ryder, Michael Shannon, and James Franco, at the Venice Film Festival.

As much as I loved the white silk-georgette strapless dress – because of the degradé ‘Flora’ printed skirt – I found it to be a bit too casual for the red carpet of a stuffy film festival. The gold leather high-heeled evening sandals and red satin box clutch, both by Gucci, dressed this look up, but not quite enough, I thought.

SO, which Gucci Cruise 2013 sighting at the Venice Film Festival you liked better: Kate’s or Brit’s? May I add that Kate’s look was for a photocall − for her film The Reluctant Fundamentalist – so the slouchy vibe is perfectly acceptable.
