This collection has been inspired by the greatest Yogi in the world – Lord Shiva.

Lord Shiva is the God of dance and yoga. Absorbing and observing his ways since childhood, our treks to Amarnath and Shankracharya in Kashmir, to the banks of Ganga in Kashi, dancing in nature in Kerala, meditating in Dakineshwar, etc all inspired us to create this collection. Our aim was to invoke and surrender to the Lord, in all of our creativity.

The collection features beautiful sherwanis & kurtas with hoods, funky pants, bandhgalas, jackets all to portray a classic feel. We have designed the crescent moon on the collar, or the grand trident on the arm.

The groomswear is especially catered to give a “royal & spiritual look.”

We have something up our sleeves for kids too! Called  ‘Lil Yogi and the Lil Prince’, the theme depicts a child – who has both the values to the purest form of divinity.

B ‘n’ S is also supporting a beautiful international Children’s magazine called Balvihar through their collection to spread the message of the great yogi.

“We look at designing menswear, as a blank slate. Our travels world over, spiritual quests, innate nature of letting dance, music, kalaripayyatu, yoga, etc affect us positively, to be creative; all of which helps us to unleash our potential through this medium. We design for men and new born babies to great grandfathers! Also women love to come shop with their sons, spouses, brothers and boyfriends with us. Our dream is to work with the likes of James Cameron, Julie Taymor etc to spread our message of truth, beauty, India and spirituality where our creativity would be challenged & explored!”

Here are five interesting ways to dress “The Yogi” in you, to the hilt!

  1. Fun night out – sport one of our hooded or draped tees, a pair of fun colored denims or our Yogi pants.
  2. Grooms to be – The colors this season are sober, go for pristine whites/golds & add color with a stole or stylish draped jacket.
  3. Attending a wedding – A sleeveless bundhgala/ jacket is a stunner with a pair of jodhpurs or dhoti pants.
  4. Corporate meetings – We’re big fans of the classic bundhgala/ tailored suit. A well fitted shirt with a pair of slim fit trousers and a great belt can do the trick too! Soothing colors to elevate the aura always helps too 😉
  5. For a concert – Dress stylishly in a military jacket or go for a simple crisp kurti shirt with one of your washed denims.
