Varun Dhawan is not even a film old yet, but it seems like he’s created just the right buzz . Word has it that he’s being considered for Maneesh Sharma‘s next film, the one Shahid Kapoor was supposed to do, but couldn’t, due to YRF‘s constant date changes.

There’s also been news doing the rounds that Varun’s costar in Student of the Year, Siddharth Malhotra, is also in the running for this role. However, it seems that Varun has the edge in this case as Aditya Chopra and Maneesh are apparently impressed with his acting skills. Either way, it doesn’t look like they’ll be talking about it much until Student of the Year is released – but keep your eyes and ears open, because one of these newbies may just grab that coveted role.
