A recent jaunt to India inspired designer Vera Wang’s (best known for her exquisite bridal wear) latest offering. Her Spring/Summer 2013 collection presented at New York Fashion Week showcased a line that didn’t rely on the clichéd inspiration of our country.
The colour palette ranging from whites, greens, purples, blues and later finished off with golds. There were plenty of pencil and A-line dresses. The brocade shorts with tunics will definitely be snapped up by celebrities in a jiffy and I just love the ballet inspired tie-up heels the models wore – it gave the ensembles a hint of sensuality.
