Oxblood Red Pantone Swatch

It’s fall, that means longer sleeves, colder weather (in Canada at least) and the start of the festive season. While Barbie-style pink lipstick has been a strong trend this year, I think fall marks the end of that trend. And I’m happy about it actually. I’m kind of over it, and it wasn’t a flattering colour on the wearer most of the time.  But the colour du saison? Oxblood!

I love this colour, it is so rich, classy and elegant. More importantly though, it suits many Indian skin tones. Check it out on Priyanka Chopra on her People Magazine cover from last year:
