I had heard that Sana Saeed (the young Anjali in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai) had a part in Student of the Year, but what I didn’t realize is that I had managed to watch the promos and miss her altogether! So if you’re in the same boat as I am, have a closer look to catch her in The Disco Song!

Word also has it that she’s not playing a cameo, but really a second lead entirely – she plays Tanya, the hottie of the school. That begs the question of why she’s been left out of promotions, but I guess that’s a Karan Johar tactic for you. During Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, very little attention was given to Rani Mukerji‘s role, which of course changed once the film came out – so maybe the same thing is happening for Sana’s role in Student of the Year? Guess we’ll have to wait and see!
