Earlier today – after much speculation and change of dates – Bollywood lovebirds Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor got hitched with a registered marriage at Saif’s apartment in Bandra, Mumbai.
While the groom wore a stylised linen kurta with lapels on the shoulders, the bride wore and orange and green ensemble with not too much of bling embroidery work on it. They kept it refreshingly simple as the pictures tell us.
According to the Press Trust of India, Marriage Registrar Surekha Ramesh said, “They had requested that the registry be held at their residence. For the formalities, we will charge Rs 1,000.”
Later tonight, the couple will have a traditional Islamic nikah ceremony at the Taj Mahal Hotel.
