Colaba’s old haunt (which has seen various avatars like Athena & Prive) has now been relaunched as Ghost. Last night was their opening party hosted by Vikrant Chougule, Ankit Rawat and Chetas Shah and attended by the stilettoe army. What’s new? Lots of gold, chain mail and hot tunes. Oh and those treacherous water pools everyone used to fall into are gone! Why Ghost? I’m told it’s cos it’s a name you won’t soon forget and the owners are big fans of the Rolls Royce Ghost :)

Not much of a fashion critic, but here’s my opinion anyway: Most of the ladies appear to be dressed nicely. Most of the dudes are dressed horribly.
These would be my rules for dudes if I was a stylist:
if youre over 12 years old, dont wear a t-shirt to a club. Just dont.
If youre determined to wear a t-shirt, but arent built like a fitness model, dont wear a tight fighting t shirt. It just looks sloppy.
Please burn all of your ed-hardy, affliction, armani, armani exchange t shirts. I know you probably spent an arm and a leg on those clothes, but they look horrible on you. No one should be a walking billboard advertisement for some brand.
A scarf to a club in Mumbai?. Are you serious???? Its 10000 degrees C outside. Its hard enough to keep from sweating bullets wearing almost nothing, but you want to add layers on top of what youre already wearing? My guess is that you werent smelling like roses that night..
No t shirts with plunging neck lines. C’mon dude, turn in your man card if you want to wear something that looks like a blouse. The only cleavage anyone wants to see in a club belongs to some hot model. FEMALE. Your man boobs should stay tucked in behind a couple of layers if possible.
