>Arabic calligraphy paintings by Salva Rasool are the reflection of her imagination and vision that have set the stage to take the written word far beyond just pen and paper. She has used different medium to create works giving them the individuality and at the same time has kept her signature style in tandem. Each painting represents the epitome of Arabic text at its best and varies in different size that gives her audience to make a choice in different size format.

She has used different styles of calligraphy in her works and has experimented with new colour compositions. The modernity of works can be seen from the usage of stripes, which is courageous to use in calligraphy paintings and it complements the aesthetic of the artwork. She has incorporated an element of synchronization in each genre and has kept the balance between the original text and her modern contemporary artwork.
