Since designer Nandita Mahtani did not have a Bollywood or celebrity show-stopper for her Blender’s Pride Fashion Tour show in Mumbai on Sunday, the presence of English Vinglish star, Sridevi, sitting pretty in the front row, more than made up for the lack of Bollywood glam on the ramp.
Sridevi, wearing a long red maxi by Nandita, was accompanied buy her two bright-eyed daughters. Also spotted were actors Dino Morea, Rana Daggubati and Sikandar Kher.
From the beauty of the Red Carpet look to the casual style of the beach party that is what the collection from Nandita Mahtani is all about. The colour palette is full of bright pop colours like neon green, pink that move into lots of summer hues with metallic gold added to it. Embroidery in the collection is very subtle with gold, copper and bronze playing a major role, which gives the overall look of the creations a very sexy, feminine, glamorous and timeless appearance.
