Last week, my colleague Karen Alfonso gave you a sneak-peek of Pria Kataria Puri’s Picasso inspired collection for India Resort Fashion Week 2012, which is currently being held in Goa.
Playing with a wide spectrum of colours like white and black with shades of brick, blue and soft pink, the prints on Pria’s creations were inspired by Picasso’s early work while in Spain. This line of garments were formal resort wear with a wide selection of dresses, kaftans, swimwear, skirts, tops, jumpsuits and maxis.
Keeping the Spanish mood in mind, the striking headgear comprising tasseled bandanas and the makeup by Marvie Anne Beck, created the perfect mood for the show.
