Priyanka Chopra says: “I spent a lot of time with autistic kids in workshops. We went to schools, I videotaped them the way I wanted, to see how they laugh, when they laugh what makes them laugh. I had a lot of help from people who I know as well who gave me information. I read a lot and then Jhilmil got created. For example, we decided on short hair because autistic kids don’t know how to look after their hair. So Anurag said let us just keep it short and when I was a kid I had curly hair. So I showed him a picture of me as a baby and he said, ‘This is it!’ and that is how we made her hair.”
