Designer/stylist Anju Modi told DNA that no one but Deepika could have carried these outfits as well as she does, since her height and slim waist are perfect for dressing up in this avatar. Also, while they had to keep the royal lineage of the Kutch region in mind, they needed to ensure that the clothes had a modern feel to it since this is not a period film.
