Just a weekend funny for you! 🙂 Our cartoonist saw our Race 2 review, which we gave 2 stars to, and thought it would’ve worked out better for the makers if they named the film Race 5 instead. 😉 But that, actually, brings me to a very pertinent point…
If you saw the film, you would have noticed a particular John Abraham dialogue towards the end that completely sets the stage for a Race 3. No doubt that the makers are totally gunning to make this a proper franchise, especially since the opening box office collection figures seem to be very good – trade analyst Taran Adarsh says the film collected upwards of 15 crores in India on Friday. According to the production house, the film released in 3200 domestic screens with approximately 70-80% occupancy in multiplexes.
So while we don’t think they created a fitting sequel with Race 2, maybe by Race 5 we can hope for a rating that coincides with its title? 😉
