Author Lakshmi Narayan launched her novel, Bonsai Kitten, at Title Waves bookshop in Mumbai last evening. Director Gauri Shinde did a reading from the book with special guests Malaika Arora Khan and Amrita Arora Ladak.

The tale begins when the character Divya is kissed awake by a total stranger on a busy intersection in Singapore. The story then takes you on a whirlwind between Delhi, Mumbai, Singapore and numerous small towns in India, tackling serious issues throughout.
