Mumbaikars can witness the history of music being re-written at a live concert at Andheri Sports Complex on Martyr’s Day (Wednesday 30th January 2013), presented by Aadesh Shrivastava to launch his newest album Global Sounds of Peace, featuring Amitabh Bachchan live in song.
Led by Aadesh Shrivastava, the concert will showcase performances by some of the best musical talents in India and across the globe including Shankar Mahadevan, Sukhwinder Singh, Sonu Nigam, Shaan, Kailash Kher, Raghu Dixit, Sunidhi Chauhan, Kavita Krishnamurthy, L Subramanium, Pamela Logoie, Akon and Padmini Kolhapure. The show will also include performances by Shiamak Davar’s talented dance group.
These artists will be singing to the sounds of the World Raga Symphony, (an amalgamation of the London Philharmonic Orchestra and Indian instrumentalists led by David Murphy and Yogesh Pradhan).
The concert is FREE to all who wish to attend and entry to the venue will be on a first-come-first basis. Gates open at 5pm.
