Call me a tubelight, but it has only recently occured to me what a swashbuckling dresser Sidharth Malhotra is – good enough to give the Rahuls, the Anil Kapoors and the Imran Khans some stiff competition!
Be it casual wear or formals, he has nice clobbers + shoes on – without fail. His suits are all so impeccably tailored, and more importantly, he wears them ever so well!
But it was his outfit at the 58th Annual Filmfare Awards which sealed the deal for me. It was as classic as you can get – and yet so du jour. Velvet, for better or for worse, is THE fabric of the moment, but thanks to the wide peak lapels his dinner suit didn’t traverse to the fad-y territory. And then that boutonnière on his lapel…!!! Friends, this is the mark of a true dandy.
Mr. Malhotra, I’m profoundly impressed – and can’t wait for your next sartorial adventure! And friends, y’all agree with me?
