Another day, another batch of Amrapali spotting on the red carpet of a Hollywood event. This time, it was at the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, with E! presenter Giuliana Rancic, model & Baywatch actress Carmen Electra, and Downton Abbey’s scullery maid Sophie McShera.

Giuliana Rancic went for Amrapali 14K gold rose cut diamond drop earrings to pair with her cobalt blue Max Azria Atelier gown featuring an elaborate shoulder ruffle, and a black grosgrain waistband. As gorgeous as the pieces were on her, I was too distracted by her gaunt frame. G, In-N-Out Burger, NOW!

Simon Cowell‘s latest squeeze Carmen Electra was asking for a wardrobe malfunction in that strapless mermaid gown from Tony Ward Couture’s Spring 2012 collection! Amrapali blue sapphire and diamond earrings, and as Irit Design diamond ring were her bling of choice with that navy embellished gown.

I guess being in scullery uniform for much of the year impedes your fashion sense, ‘cos I can’t think of a reason why Sophie McShera turned up at such a high-profile red carpet, in a belted mustard satin sheet! The Amrapali sapphire and rose cut diamond ring, as gorgeous as it was, couldn’t salvage this look.

SO, which Amrapali piece did you like best? It was Giuliana’s dazzlers for me… 🙂
