Amitabh Bachchan and Aadesh Shrivastava present a cheque

Singer Aadesh Shrivastava launched his newest album – Global Sounds Of Peace – with a huge concert at the Andheri Sports Complex in Mumbai. An impressive line-up of singers like Kailash Kher, Shaan, Shanksar Mahadevan and Sonu Nigam sang live for the massive crowds.

The concert also had Amitabh Bachchan singing Raag Basanti in his mesmerising baritone voice. Later in the evening, Aadesh, along with Mr. Bachchan, presented a cheque of Rupees Twenty-One Lakhs to Mumbai’s Commissioner of Police.

Said Amitabh Bachchan, “I am very proud of Aadesh for taking on this initiative. Music has the ability to transcend barriers and melt away differences. I wish him all the best in this endeavour and hope that everyone here today is inspired to take one small step in the right direction towards peace and harmony.“
